Sean who?

To all who's just new here in our blog, this is Sean Montreal, a resident of second life, my hubby in first life or real life. He's been a resident for more than a year now and we found this virtual world our Second Nirvana. We've been here quite awhile but still there's a whole lot of things to discover.

This is his avatar (av). It has gone through a lot of transformations. Well, of course we would want to have something nice that will represent us and/or something like similar of who we are in the real world.

Nice huh? and it's worth the price. Hehe! Skins, shapes, hairs, eye colors and clothings come in varieties and there are lots to choose from in second life. It's possible here whatever style or trend or however you prefer your av to look like. Whatever you imagine yourself to be; you can live it here; may it be something out of this earth character, winged ones as those of faeries or angels, mythical as the gods and goddesses, goth or that of animal forms, and may just be plain humans like we decided to be.

Like humans... and at times it's difficult to separate emotions even just role playing in this place. Oh well, anyways, in every av is still human playing it.

And as humans do... we live life here like there's no tomorrow. Hehe! Enjoying lots of adventures. Riding every chance like we stole it. Hey, all that matter here is that we should have fun!

Sean has been a sports freak in SL. Just look at those adventures he had. And believe me he had fun. Recently, he's mad about his sailboats. You heard me right, he got like 4 of them and thinking of getting another, and of which is still under negotation... with me.. lol!

Ok, now these are some of his looks. He's been wearing different kinds of hair. He got nice skin and shape and planning on to get nice ones still when i get back playing. Oh, isn't he gorgeous? Hehe!

And you will always find him hanging out near the beach. He loves the water. And love's showing off his bod... well, who wouldn't wanna see that?! Hehe! He got nice ink of his sign Capricorn.

Now look at my James Dean. Hehe! Nice thing in here you can smoke a lot without hurting your lungs. LOL! He doesn't have any vice in real life but he got lots in SL. Hehe!

As in real life, here you can get to meet nice and not so nice residents, who will be part of your adventures if ever. We encountered some problems as well, where Sean would just give a tongue's out; situations that were really annoying and made him really mad; some moments that had gotten out of hand and that he would just smile about....

Well, C'est la vie!!! May it be in First or Second Life, Just take it easy and have fun!! :P

What's outside our home?

We got nice trees outside the house. Making the lawn there a lovely site. They are fruit bearing trees. Both got nice details and they are scripted.

This is our sweet orange tree. Nice huh? It got lotsa fruits as you can see. This got sound effect of like fruit dropped on the ground... cool huh?

This is the Strawberry Guava tree. The one Sean places near the ledge. Like the Sweet Orange tree, this got sound effect too.

You will see fruits scattered on the ground. Nice thing having them in SL you don't need to clean the place up to get rid of those rotten fruits... hehe!

They both bear lotsa fruits which hang closely on branches. Nice colors of fruits as well.

We found that white wall of the house a lil bare. We can't change the texture or color of it so we decided to put creeping plants in the. Flowering one, as we agreed on that. What is bougainvillea if we're looking for a blooming and full of bunches on its stems?

Sean got these. But we need two to cover up the wall and considering we're saving prims we don't need to go more than 1 prim for this.

Luckily Sean got this one on trellis. We're still on the alloted prim and one that can cover up the wall. And it's stil bougainvilleas. Smart , huh? Hehe!

Now see this! Awesome, huh? It's more like it than the other one. And its not too much in there as well.

No, Sean isn't resting... LOL! He's trying out this quilt at Pillow talk. Cool, ain't it? We're checking out stuffs we can still put on the lawn. This one got like 3 different poses.

But this is the one we got now. A log from there. This got 2 poses and 2 people can sit on it. Now, look at Sean. He's feeling the wood. LOL!

The log we placed on the ledge to have a nice view while laying on it. Now this is resting! See Sean lay there smoking his cigarette and daydreaming i guess... Hehe! Sean taking a break, enjoying the beauty that surrounds him.

Ahh.. and this is the good Life... Spending some time looking at and appreciating all the beauty around us.

Let me share you this:

An angel talking to Manuel in his dream. Manuel, a so busy man, not wanting to do nothing for he thinks that his life has no meaning, that he's wasting his time, that society no longer needs him, that mo one loves or want him.

An angel asks him "Why are you doing this?" He replies that it's because he's a responsible man. The angel goes on: "Would you be capable of taking at least fifteen minutes of your day to stop and look at the world, and at yourself, and simply do nothing? " Manuel says that he would love to do that, but he doesn't have time. "You're lying to me", says the angel. "Everyone has time to do that. It's just that they don't have the courage. Work is a blessing when it helps to think about what we're doing; but it becomes a curse when its sole use is to stop us thinking about the meaning of our life."

Catching some breeze on my sail...

Here at the cabin where Sean and his friends are renting right now at Gun (68,200,82). Friends decided to fix the place up and decorate.

This was taken at the deck where the lounge area is... lady friends accented it with plants and nice wicker furnitures...

Rik, one of Sean's friends, placed a nice portrait of the boat there by that wall... captured a red lovely sunset...

Nice view of the ocean from those glass windows. Another of Rik's work on the wall. Very nice piece of art.

I love the white couch in there. Nice touch for like a resthouse. It looks comfy and neat. I like the carpet and matting as well...

Another set on this end and a nice frame of a ship up there. Nice details on the door, by the way, like a wood carved of dolphins.

Taken outside with friends Samara, Rik and Fury. Funny Sean said. Ladies got lotsa things to talk about, fashion, places etc. He cant keep up! Hehe...

Zippy placed some maps in there too. Well, it's kinda sail trails... on the next photo you will see another map with trails on it.

The maps and one of Rik's works i mentioned above... He's into art and got gallery as well that i will show you further in one of the upcoming posts...

Here's another boat we got. The forth one i was talking about on the previous post "Ahoy there!"

A racing boat which each one of them owned as well. Sean trying out his boat. Sailing it with the sun setting on the background. Such lovely scene.

Who can fail to be moved by a visit to a sea?

Breeze blowing hard on the colorful spinnaker and sail. The sky's bright and blue, and the water... calm.

Sean headed out to the vast ocean. Don't go far Babe. Hehe! :P

Guys...sigh! Ya, like they re-textured their boats for the nth times already. Used up all the colors in the color scheme... LOL! Now Sean's sail is blue here. Hehe! Nice with the transparency effect on it.

The size of the texture isn't working, well i guess, having those unwanted prints on top. But Rik helped him of that so it's ok already.

The boat fascination of Sean goes on. Now he wanna get one of these. They are cool and nice details on it... but... we got lotsa boats already... :P

I know he really wanna have one but i told him well see.. hehe! ;)

Finally, the "latest" (hopefully the last) color of Sean's sailboat... Hehe! Nice touch of red.

Oh, i made the text printed on the rear front of the boat with palm tree on it. "Boracay", one of the beautiful beaches in the world. You should go and visit it in the Philippines. Well, in real life that is. :)

Home Accents...

We add a lil more accents at home. Lights, jar and flower arrangement....

I always wanted some plants i can place by the jacuzzi. Considering we got only limited prims left so we really see to it that every piece as much as possible should be 2 prims or less...

Sean found this lovely garden with nice vines and creeping flower plants... and it's prim-wise too... the ones we're looking for...

This is where we place it... nice huh? The texture's good and doesn't look flat... we're happy with it... hehe!

He wanna have one more arrangement by the entrance door but we couldn't find like slim and flowing... And one corner of the house really looks bare so told him i want a big jar in there instead...

So this is a fabulous finds... we have chosen to have that one with prints on it... Nice piece of art...

See... It gave that corner a nice touch! Sean fell in love with it... hehe!

We need lights... a nicely lit piece of chandeliers will be best in that ceiling just above the carpet... And this is simply elegant...

The accents are so nice making that place neat and lighted...

We took of the floor lamps in the living room and decided to have Japanese lamps instead...

We got the one which is floor standing and with leaves design on it... Sean placed it in that corner between the two couches... Like it so that we wanna get more but we don't have any prim left...

Sigh! So much nice things so lil prims alloted. Anyways, as the saying goes...less is more!! ;)

The boats, balloon and fun...

Since Sean and Friends (Zippy, Rik & Samara) are into sailing, Zippy came out of an idea renting a cabin and have access to a nice water.

This is cabin they are renting right now at Gun... slurl: Gun (68,200,82)

Zippy and Rik's racing boat and Sean's touring boat are now docked in front of it.

Ok. Sean told me to wait for a sec... And this is something "for the boys".. hehe... beer drinking! At this time Samara isn't around yet but Zippy sent her an IM and LM (Landmark) of the place already.

Sean visited the cabin that night to see how's the place was during that time. It was such a lovely sight...

The water was calm and the sky clear. Stars were scattered in all over the heaven and the moon's shining up high.

A lil later Samara arrived and checked out the place. She agreed to share with them renting the cabin.

Samara told Sean she needs to get her boat as well and decided to get the same racing boat the two other guys have.

She headed off to get her boat so she may be able to docked it there too.

Sean grinned... hehe!... moon is setting behind him... such a lovely horizon..

Morning came and it's time for Sean to fix his boat. The same racing one he got earlier. He decided to make the color red. Zippy came too and started fixing his.

Sean made his sail blue. So this is our forth boat. He tried to sail it for a lil while.

Rik on the other hand joined by a friend and head out to sea...

Sean left alone in the cabin, tried out the newly purchased balloon he got for me. Well, this is no ordinary balloon... see, it got two seats... cool, huh? hehe!

See him up high. I will surely enjoy flying with it! Nice view!

So many fun ways to spend the day in SL... and these activities are guaranteed one of them.. :)
